Delhi - Shimla - Kufri - Manali - Dharamsala
Day 1: Arrive Delhi and drive to Shimla (9hrs.)
After arriving at the Delhi airport/ railway station, transfer to Shimla, by road. After reaching Shimla, check-in at the hotel. Spend the evening as per your own liking. Fondly referred to as the “Queen of Hills’ Shimla is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, which boasts of mesmerizing scenery and a laid-back atmosphere. During your leisure time, explore the nearby places on your own such as visiting the Mall, the Ridge and so on. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Shimla - Kufri Excursion with local sight seeing
Today morning after a filling, delicious breakfast visits Kufri. Kufri derives its name from 'Kufr' which means lake. It is prevalent among trekkers. The salubrious climate and stunning natural beauty make Kufri a perfect summer getaway. Kufri is the venue for annual winter sports festival held in February. Kufri is also renowned for other adventures activities such as skiing tobogganing (sliding downhill on a sledge) etc. Kufri has the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh. Kufri is also a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers as the Himalayan Nature Park is situated on the town's outskirts. The Park is home to over 180 varieties of fauna. Thereafter visit the famous mall road of Shimla. Visit the Scandal Point Jhakoo Temple (private vehicles do not have access to Jhakoo temple because of the location. The guests can take a shared taxi available on Mall Road and visit the temple. It's advisable to visit the temple before it turns dark; hence the guests can first visit the temple and then spend time on the mall road.) After ample shopping at mall road, we returned to your hotel for a mouth-watering dinner—overnight in the resort.
Day 3: Shimla to Manali (9hrs.)
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, start your journey to Manali, one of India's most popular hill stations. Upon reaching, complete the check-in process at your chosen hotel. The evening is yours to explore at your leisure. Manali, a favorite destination for honeymooners and family vacationers, boasts numerous attractions. Enjoy your overnight stay in this charming hill station, surrounded by scenic beauty and adventure opportunities.
Day 4: Manali - Local Sight Seeing & Solang Valley Visit
The morning we proceed for Solang Valley, where we can enjoy adventure activities like Zorbing, Paragliding. Later you can also visit Tibetan Monastery- not only a place of worship but also a Tibetan culture centre, the natural springs and sandstone temples at Vashist Village, Hadimba Devi Temple- dedicated to Hidimba, wife of Bhim-one of the 5 Pandava brother of the Hindu epic Mahabharata and the Manu Temple- and old temple dedicated to sage Manu. Club House In the evening we return to the hotel or free time at mall road. Overnight at Manali
Day 5: Manali - Trip to Atal Tunnel - Sissu Snow Point - Manali
Atal Tunnel aka Rohtang Tunnel, built under the Rohtang Pass, which took around 10 years to be fully operational, has become the most famous attraction for everyone who is visiting Manali. At a length of 9.02 kms, Atal Tunnel is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet, and cuts the travel time between Manali and Leh by around 3-4 hours. You enter the tunnel in Manali and end up in the Sissu, Lahaul Valley. And the very fact that you can travel from Manali to Sissu in 15-20 minutes via the Atal Tunnel is what has turned Atal Tunnel into the most talked about attraction in and around Manali. Day 6: Manali to Dharamsala by Road Enroute Visit Manikaran
After having breakfast, hit the road to Dharamshala. Enroute we visit Manikaran. Manikaran Manikaran is a small town located in the Parvati valley, in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. It lies on the banks of River Parvati. This town is situated at a height of 1760 m above the sea level. It is regarded as the pilgrim centre for both Hindus and Sikhs. After Manikaran we proceed further for Dharamsala by Road. On the way, let the cool breeze come while treating your eyes to the scenic, spread all around. After arrival in Dharamshala, check-in at the hotel. Spend the evening as per your own liking. The peaceful hill town of Dharamshala or Dharamsala is an ideal holiday destination that boasts of lush greenery, fresh air, thick green forests and a number of attractions. Stay overnight.
Day 7: Dharamsala - Full Day Local
After a hearty breakfast, you have the day free for a tour of Dharamshala, exploring its major attractions. The itinerary includes visits to Dal Lake, the picturesque Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple, and the Tibetan Monastery. Each of these places is adorned with natural beauty, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. After lunch, you'll embark on a sightseeing tour to the renowned Tibetan Medical Centre, known for its treatments using rare Tibetan medicines. The visit also includes St. John Church, one of the oldest churches in the region, famous for its Belgian stained-glass windows donated by Lady Elgin. Additionally, you can explore the Kangra Art Museum and other noteworthy sites in the area. Immerse yourself in the cultural and natural richness of Dharamshala, creating lasting memories of your visit.
Day 8: Dharamsala to Dalhousie Via Khajjiar visit
After an early breakfast check-out from the hotel & transfer to the next destination Dalhousie - a famous hill station in the lap of Himachal Pradesh known for its rich colonial architecture and preserves some of the beautiful churches, St. John's and St. Francis' church. Dalhousie has emerged as one of the favourite hill stations of India. It is famed for its splendid beauty and salubrious climate. Away from the hectic life of cities the tranquility of this place will take your heart away. This fascinating hill station is at a height of 6,460ft above sea level. A semblance of Tibet culture has added an exotic touch to this serene destination. Spectacular forest trails, waterfalls and springs make this place all the more astonishing. The Mall road is a good place to shop for Himachali shawls, woollens, Tibetan handicrafts and traditional jewellery. Arrival in Dalhousie & visit Khajjiar. Evening check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Day 9: Dalhousie to Amritsar (with Wagah Border)
"After breakfast, check out from Hotel & proceed to Amritsar by road. On arrival visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Later, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Amritsar. Note : Golden Temple opens 24hrs. So you can visit the golden temple late at night also but at your own cost. One of the most spiritual places in India, Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, is the holiest shrine in Sikhism and is alive with religious fervour and sacredness. Its divinity is a thing that can only be experienced and not described. It is located right in the heart of Amritsar and is easily reachable from any part of the city. Serving as a symbol of brotherhood and equality, Golden Temple is visited by people from all over the world who come here to seek spiritual solace and religious fulfilment.
Day 10: Amritsar to Delhi Drop by road (12hrs.)
After breakfast, we checkout from hotel and proceed for Delhi by road. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport/railway station. Tour ends with Happy Memories.
