7 Night / 8 Days Ladakh Tour

Leh – Nubra – Turtuk - Pangong - Leh

Itinerary

Day1: Arrival in Leh

Upon your arrival at Leh airport, our representative will be there to welcome you and facilitate your transfer to the hotel in Leh. Once you reach the hotel, complete the check-in process. The remainder of the day is dedicated to rest and acclimatization. Given the substantial altitude change—from approximately 200 meters to 4000 meters in just one hour—it's crucial for your body to adjust to the high altitude and different climate. Although you may be eager to explore and start your journey immediately, it's strongly recommended to take it easy on the first day. We sincerely advise you to rest for the day to allow your body to acclimatize. In the evening, you'll visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and explore the local market. These attractions offer a glimpse into the rich cultural and historical aspects of Leh. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you can enjoy an overnight stay in Leh. Remember, acclimatization is vital for a comfortable and enjoyable experience in high-altitude regions.

Day 2: Visit Sangam, Gurudwara pathar sahib, Hall of Fame, Magnetic hill

Embarking on a picturesque journey after breakfast, the day unfolds with visits to notable landmarks around Leh. The drive takes you to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimu, known as Sangam, where the mighty Indus River, a constant companion through Ladakh, merges harmoniously with the Zanskar River. The significance of this confluence, marking the beginning of the Indus River, is heightened by Ladakh's minimal rainfall of 2 to 3 inches annually. En route, the awe-inspiring Magnetic Hill challenges conventional beliefs, offering an experience where vehicles seemingly defy gravity on a steep mountain with their engines off. Further along, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a beautiful Sikh shrine at an altitude of 12,000 feet, pays homage to Guru Nanak's visit to Ladakh in 1517. On the return journey, a visit to the Ladakh Hall of Fame, constructed by the Indian Army, is a poignant experience, showcasing memorabilia, biographies of defense personalities, images, weapons used in the Kargil War, and enemy soldiers' belongings found at the war site. Note that additional vehicle charges apply for the optional light and sound show at the Hall of Fame in the evening.
